Joining This Girl Runs – Solihull & Shirley is really easy, all you need to do is decide are you a beginner or improver runner? Don’t fancy running? No problem! Join our walking group!

**Sign Up is OPEN for our Winter beginner courses starting Monday 13th January at Solihull & Thursday 16th January at Shirley. Its the busiest time of year for sign ups so sign up quick!**

Zero to 3km Hero!

(8-week Beginner Run Course ideal if you haven’t exercised in a while or have struggled with injury)

Starting on;

  • Monday 13th January @ 7:15pm, Tudor Grange Park, Solihull
  • Thursday 16th January @7:15pm Shirley Park, Shirley

We will repeat the same session on a Monday & Thursday, you can come to either or both sessions (no need to stick to the same session every week)

Let’s Go 5km!

(8-week Beginner Run Course, ideal for those who are active & want to start running)

Starting on;

  • Monday 13th January @ 6pm, Tudor Grange Park, Solihull
  • Thursday 16th January @6pm Shirley Park, Shirley

We will repeat the same session on a Monday & Thursday, you can come to either or both sessions (no need to stick to the same session every week)

Zero to 3km! is an ideal 8 week course for ladies who haven’t exercised in a long time or ladies who struggle with injuries. We start from zero and slowly build up run-walk intervals over the 8 weeks to reach our end goal; running for 20 minutes solid. Each week there is optional homework to complete in your own time.

Let’s Go 5km! Is perfect for ladies who are beginner runners and would like to build up to running 5km charity or park run events. We start off slowly and build up run-walk intervals over the 8 weeks to our goal; running for 30 minutes. Each week there is optional homework to complete in your own time.

The Let’s Go 5km! course is a slightly faster pace than the Zero to 3km course.

Keep Me Going!

(Membership for Improvers)

Walking Group! This is a weekly walking group for ladies who want to be active but don’t fancy running. What better way to unwind from your day than to have a good chat and walk around Solihull?

Keep Me Going! Membership is ideal for ladies who can run 5km in 40 minutes or less. These sessions meet at the park but run out of park on different run routes. Keep Me Going sessions vary each week to help you improve your skill and fitness. Keep Me Going is a great way to meet new run-buddies, it’s a very social and welcoming group.

The minimum age to run with This Girl Runs is 12 years of age.
